General Description |
Northern part of the wall LGR:0319. EW orientated wall preserved on 5 to 6 courses of cobblestones and bolders. The perserved height is homogeneous and is around 90 cm. The width is 1.40 m. The wall is build with large long bolders of 30-40 cm long set for making the faces of the wall. Between these rows, 5 to 6 rows of flat large pebbles and cobblestones of 15-25 cm set in the middle of the wall. The top course of the wall is composed of larger, flat stones, a technique that would have facilitated the building up of the wall suprastructure. |
