General Description |
This locus is the deposit below the topsoil in the western part of the quarter trench. It is distinguished from Locus:182908:003 by only rare occurences of stones larger than 15cm. The soil is dry soft, silty, well sorted,common pottery, few baked bricks, few cobbles, a lot of pebbles included. One large flat stone with (57cm length, 3cm thick) was lying in inclined position in the southern part of the locus. Among the inclusions in the soil there were also 2 recent pieces of iron and aluminium foil. The latter carried a repeated blue-coloured print of the brand name "Nesto".
