Description of the Locus
| General Description |
heterogeneous deposit which is not substantially distinguished from the material of overlying Locus:182908:004 nor the soil between the stones of Locus:182908:003; in general dry soft, dark brown (10 YR 4/3), moderately sorted soil with common inclusions of pottery, few brick fragments and few little pieces of charcoal. Especially in the northeastern part of the locus patches of very loose, dark-greyish brown soil that are intermingled in the deposit. Some gravel-sized pieces of smooth red-coloured stone. Several stones between c.20 and 40cm size in irregular positions. 04.09.2019: 202 buckets = 1344 liters 05.09.2019: 75 buckets = 525 liters 07.09.2019: 215 buckets = 1505 liters |
