| Interpretation & Classification of the Locus |
The compacted surface of L.27 was first believed to represent the bottom of pit Locus:182908:009 (until 14.09.2019). When further removing soil in order to completely uncover the grave in Square 181908, it turned out that this is still a lower layer of the pit fill (=continuation of Locus:182908:008). The real, final bottom of the pit cut is marked by the virgin soil (15.09.2019). The locus equals Locus:181908:037. |
