| Description | Long white cylindrical bead. Weight: 0.9 g. Diameter of 0.7 cm and a lenght of 1.2 cm. The diameter of the perforation is 0.4 cm. Its surface is covered with longitudinal grooves. On one end a layer of the material broke of. The grooves are still visible on the underlaying layer. The surface is very smooth and when cleaned shiny.It comes from a tusk shell (Dentalium sp.) from Scaphopod. Is it Octangulatum? Check the sides. It is a marine creature. |
