Description | Bronze Fibula, complete. The body of the fibula is rounded and decorated, from the hinge to the spring: first a flattish profile with a thickness of 0.4 cm, then the profile becomes round, with a thickening cut by two grooves, then the top of the curve followed by the same thickening cut by two grooves and then the spring. The spring is three layered and transitions into the pin. The pin is 4.7 cm long and rest onto the hinge without protruding. The hinge is 0.7 cm long and 0.3 cm thick. It is folded upwards to catch the pin. The weight is of 19.424 g, the length of 5 cm, the height of 3.4 cm. Comparisons are found in Iran 7th-5th century BC (Iron age III), Hasanlu (metropolitan museum) And west-Iran British museum 135860 |
