 Description of the Locus

General Description Consistency: dry soil, Particle size: loamy soil. Moderately sorted. Components: few burnt brick fragments, many stones, some pottery, some bone fragments. Colour dark brown.

During the excavation this locus revealed more stones immediately below the soil, and one almost complete pottery vessel in fragmentrary state. Some humans bones were also visibile but not related to the vessel. Noteworthy is the piece of black plastic coming out from under one stone. Moreover we found another plastic piece belonging to a biscuit pack with expiration date 2000 and packing date 1999. This evidence indicates that the locus 4 formed in modern times.
Boundaries (Contrast, Topography) Located in the northern trench between loci 3 and 5. It touches both sections.
Consistency (Components, Colours)
Interpretation & Classification of the Locus because of the presence of plastic pack we believe this locus was the fill of the pit dug by robbers who looted the area about 16 years ago as deducted from the date on the plastic pack (between 1999 and 2000 roughly).
