 Description of the Locus

General Description Wall L:100000:006 is built on the substruction material L:100000:026. It is 1,20 m wide, oriented EEN – WWS. The stones are up to 40 cm long and 15-20 cm high. Wall 6 is preserved to a height of three layers of stones in the trench but higher in the section where the height amounts to 80 cm.
Boundaries (Contrast, Topography) The locus is located in the northern trench, between loci 5 and 7. It continnues into the eastern and the western sections. Towards the north of wall L:100000:006 the looting pit L:100000:004 destroyed archaeological remains in the middle of the trench down to the substruction material L:100000:026 which continues underneath wall L:100000:0006 in the south as well as wall L:100000:023 and beaten mud floor L:100000:025 in the north.
