General Description |
This filling might also represent a supra-floor that belongs to the use horizon that is connected tho the wall Locus:176904:003 so therefore it is artificially divided from Locus:176904:005.
The loci is present directly below a thin layer of topsoil (Locus:176904:002) and mixed with it and disturbed due to ploughing. Several small to mid-sized pebbles and the information gained from the excavation of Locus:176904:004 and Locus:176904:005 show that a layer of use / walking horizon is present here nonetheless.
The consistency and colour resembles the brownish clayey soil of the topsoil above but is slightly more greyish and dry the closer it is to the layer of use mentioned above. |
Boundaries (Contrast, Topography) |
This locus is limited to the W,E and S by the excavation edge, in the N it is artificially divided from Locus:176904:005 |
